Our expectations & reasoning behind this.
\n<\/strong>These ropes are more for use away from the van when travelling, or possibly wading to check the depth before a river crossing. Definitely not for towing or winching the van.<\/span><\/p>\n

Currently, 3 to choose from. 8mm semi-static, 9.1mm, or 11 mm dynamic.

The 8mm (white) is semi-static and the most used (by us)<\/span>, the other two are dynamic, and although easier to tie knots in, are heavier, so less favoured if they need to be carried any distance. None of these ropes will float. The white & the dark green rope are fast approaching their retirement date and will need replacing soon. The white 8mm (semi-static) with a similar rope, the  11mm dark green, possibly with a 9.1mm rope.<\/p>\n
