Synopsis.
The Items listed below are what we expect to be used for maintenance, repair and the general running of the van in use.
<\/strong> We are slowly putting together a toolkit and a selection of spare parts for the van. Some of the items we expect to be carrying all the time in the van, or as part of the basic tool kit<\/span><\/a>, others occasionally, depending on the intended trip. Some items also form part of the recovery kit<\/a><\/span>, so are also listed there under their own headings. The remaining items, listed in <\/span>tools & spares for long-term maintenance<\/span><\/a><\/span>, w<\/span>ould, for the most part, only be used at home on planned jobs. or possibly on longer trips or journeys to more<\/span> remote places.
The list is far from complete, as what we need and which category the items belong in is still evolving as we learn more about the van. We will add links & the individual items into the reviews<\/a><\/span> section, giving more information on them ASAP.<\/p>\n

Items in \u201cBlack\u201d will probably be taken on all trips.
Items in \u201cGray\u201d<\/span> are for longer trips or if we think it necessary.
Items in \u201cBrown\u201d<\/span>  we need to get or make.<\/strong><\/em>
Items in \u201cMauve\u201d<\/span> need to be changed, or replaced, or we need more.

<\/span>Screen-wash tablets. (dry concentrated screen wash, -5 antifreeze)<\/span>
Screen-wash concentrate.<\/span> (with -30 antifreeze depending on the type of trip).<\/span>
Windscreen de-icer.<\/span> (dependent on destination or time of year).<\/span>
Hydraulic fluid<\/span>.<\/span> (for brake and clutch).<\/span>

Hand brake cable.<\/span>
Hydraulic brake & clutch line repair kit.
Vacuum pipe repair kit.
Ignition barrel switch.
