\nAlthough the tent stood up well to the storm, it was necessary to move things away from the sides as it did flex considerably.<\/p>\n
\n<\/strong>This is not a bad tent, but it’s still basically a summer tent, so it’s not what we are looking for.
\nPinching is reusable easily (although not as fast as claimed they never are), and it did survive a force 8 gale; however, the camping kit inside was rearranged a bit, so if using this type of tent in strong winds, it would be something to bear in mind. Also, because all the walls sloped in, there was not as much room in the tent as might first appear.
\nWe have now replaced both of our airframe tents with a modular cabin-style Oz-tent<\/a><\/span>, which, although bulkier, will hopefully be more what we are looking for, especially if we can fabricate a drive-away panel for it.
\nBoth of our air frame tents will eventually be sold; however, we do still have a poled driveway tunnel tent, a gazebo and an embarrassing number of smaller tents.<\/p>\n
