Our reasoning & expectations behind this.
\n<\/strong>Part of the tool kit, specifically for our van. As our batteries are now almost at the midpoint of the van, any connection to another vehicle will probably be a greater distance than is normal, to allow for this we have opted to carry a set of extra-long jump leads. We will probably change the clamps on these leads for the fully insulated versions, in the near future.
\nShould we need to connect the internal batters we have made a single short jump lead, this avoids us having to use one of the extra long leads to connect the positive terminals, the negative terminals being already connected.
\nBoth the extra-long jump leads & the Short single jump lead will probably end up permanently stored in the van.<\/p>\n
