 The second van, (still on the wish list).<\/span><\/span>
\n(ideas guinea pig for the Beast).<\/span><\/h6>\n

A few of the ideas from the work in progress that we hope to build and test on the second van.<\/strong>
\nSome of the projects below will take some time (or might not be possible), so building and testing them on a second van should help to keep the beast on the road more. However, if there’s no second van available, we will have to go ahead with the main van with some of the mods.
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pop-top roof<\/a> construction.
\n      Move the cross member back when fitting the pop-top.
\n      Retracting three-point seat belts in the roof at the back of the van.
\n<\/span>      Pipe storage box & awning integrated into the sides of the pop-top roof.<\/span><\/strong>
\n      Fold down CB aerials, integrated into the sides of the pop-top roof.<\/span><\/strong>
\n      Roof rails & crossbars.<\/span><\/strong>
\n      Sunroof\/access hatch at the front. (conflicts with solar panels)!<\/span><\/span><\/strong>
\n      Sunroof-type vents in the pop-top. (x2).<\/span><\/span><\/strong>
\nExternal storage lockers in the side panel behind the driver\u2019s door.<\/span><\/strong>
\nRoller blinds on all windows & dashboard.<\/span><\/strong>
\nRaised front top spring mounts 2\u201d -3\u201d.<\/span><\/strong>
\nAdjustable rear ride height.
\nModify electric window winders.<\/span><\/strong>
\nRecirculating heated air modification.
\nWading flap\/valve on the cabin air intake. (see <\/span>of road additions).<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/strong>
\nElectric folding truck-style wing mirrors.<\/strong><\/span>
\nAdjustable height tow bar.<\/strong><\/span>
\nCurtain surround for the open tailgate. (shower cubicle).<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\nSand screens & fixings for windows & lights.
\nMove the fuel inlet up higher & fit a flap that locks with central locking.<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span>
\nUnder-slung fuel tanks x 2,<\/strong><\/span><\/a>
\nExtend the floor where the fuel tank was<\/a>. (planned mod after the fuel tank is moved).
\n<\/span>Fit a cyclonic dust filter on the engine air intake. (before the main filter).<\/span>
\nDeadlock through bolts on all doors.
\n<\/strong><\/span>Extended upper channel detail on the side of the van.<\/span><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n
