\nOur first thought was to fit one in the van; however, we eventually opted for a pair of handheld CBs with aerial connections in the van (currently one fitted)<\/span>. This option means we can use one of our radios out of the van on foot or in another vehicle to communicate with the van, or both of our radios away from the van on foot or in other vehicles if needed. The radios run on AA batteries, rechargeable AA batteries, or 12V from the van. They can also recharge the AA rechargeable batteries in the power pack from the 12V in the van.
\nWe may still fit a permanent CB in the van if we can find one that attaches and is controlled by the head units through the aux connection.<\/p>\n
