Basically, a non-lethal animal deterrent that should be legal to possess in most countries.
A portable refillable air horn that uses a bike or car tyre pump to reprime. Car tyre pumps usually have a gauge, so it may be the best option, but for lightweight excursions away from the van, there is a bike pump supplied with it.
These were half price, so we grabbed them.
