Our expectations & reasoning behind this.
We intend to remove the existing fuel tank and install two under-slung fuel tanks, a main and a second “spare” fuel tank, on each side of the vehicle. This will keep the extra weight as low as possible and approximately double the van’s present fuel capacity.
This setup will also allow for a bit of weight distribution when not fully loaded, plus storage space for water or other items accessible from inside the van when the floor pan is modified.
