The decoupler.

Our reasoning and expectations behind this.
We will probably be running in 4-wheel drive most of the time, as the consensus is that it’s better for fuel economy and, more importantly, easier on the gearbox. However, having the decoupler fitted gives us the option of a suspended tow easily, and posable (we could be wrong) the option of using one of the front half shafts to replace a rear one should it brake, plus protecting the ATB front diff if a front half shaft goes.
